Wessex Interstitial Lung Disease (W.I.L.D) Patient Support Group Relaunch!

The last year has been difficult for everyone but especially for patients and carers of patients with ILD.  On behalf of the W.I.L.D team we have all missed meeting up at patient and carer support groups for tea and cake and a catch up.

Whilst we are waiting (and looking forward to) COVID being but a memory, we thought it would be important to provide the opportunity for W.I.L.D members to make contact with other members of the group as well as the clinical team in a virtual platform.

We would therefore like to invite you to join our virtual meetings.

If you would like to  join the meeting please email so we can forward you the invite.

During the meeting we will try and follow a similar format to the meetings at Fleming Park. With a talk from the experts (Dr Fletcher and Dr Spinks), break out rooms for catch-ups, an update on local ILD research opportunities, a talk on non-medication based cough therapies, as well as sharing a virtual cuppa!

Contact us on the email above if would like to join the meeting but need advice on how to meet via Zoom.

On behalf of all the W.I.L.D team,

Best wishes and looking forward to seeing some of you virtually at the W.I.L.D meeting in September
